Welcome

I love to create handmade accessories that enrich people's lives. As such, I always sell things that I enjoy and would use myself. I'm a firm believer of the do unto others rule. That means that not only do I take great care in making, selling and shipping my own products, but I work hard to maintain great communications with everyone - so talk to me! Let's exchange some fire.

Please note that my items come from a smoke-free, cat-friendly household. Though my cat does not play with yarn (she is totally bored by the knitting process), be aware that a wisp or two of stray hair could make its way into your knitted item or package.

Payment

I accept PayPal and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) through Etsy, including Etsy gift cards. If you are using an eCheck or other form of delayed payment, please note that I will hold your item until I have received your payment. Please contact me within 24 hours of the end of the sale to let me know when you are sending your payment. If there has been no communication from you within 72 hours from the date of purchase, I reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist the item.

Shipping

Your order typically ships within seven business days, not including weekends and holidays. Be aware that customized items and requests for custom orders may extend your shipping window. If you need something by a specific date, I recommend leaving me a note or upgrade to Priority shipping when you check-out. Everything you buy from me is handed directly to my mailman, Steve, before being shipped off to you!

Don't know when your order will ship? Select "Purchases and Reviews" under the dropdown menu in your Etsy account. There you will see your order and if you click on "Receipt" you'll see the date your order is due to ship.

I ship worldwide. All of my shipping costs are based on packaging prices and shipping weights. To add expedited shipping or shipping insurance, simply use the dropdown menu in your cart to select the appropriate shipping add-ons.

Please make sure that the address you give is correct and up to date, as due to shipping liabilities, I can only ship to the verified address given through Etsy and/or PayPal. If you need to change the address for any reason after placing your order, please let me know and I will cancel the transaction and let you reorder using the correct address.

When your order ships, you will receive an email from me via Stamps.com with the date of shipping and a tracking number. Please check your spam filters if you have not received this important message.

Most items are shipped USPS First Class Mail and First Class Mail International, and heavier items are shipped via Priority Mail or Priority Mail International. Insurance is available for both domestic and International buyers via my postage service. Insurance typically ranges from $2-5 USD for an order and can be selected at checkout.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you receive a product that is not to your liking in some way, you are welcome to return it for a refund of the purchase price paid. Just ship the merchandise you'd like to return back to me along with a copy of the invoice. Items must be postmarked for return within 7 days of receiving it in their original, saleable condition. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If you would like to exchange an item that you have changed your mind about, please note that these exchanges will be processed as returns. Simply return the item as described above and then purchase the new product you would prefer having.

If you need to exchange an item due to an error on my part (such as receiving the wrong quantity or product) please send me a convo with your name, email address, product name(s), order date and information about the issue. Once I receive the item back and verify the issue, I will replace the item at my expense and issue you a credit for return shipping to me.

I package items carefully and cannot be held responsible for shipping damage or lost items, as insurance is always offered.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I'm happy to make free repairs to stitch markers that have fallen apart from being well-loved, as long as you still have all of the pieces. Just send me any damaged markers (don't forget the beads, I definitely need those!) and I'll restring, rehang, and make them as good as new.

I describe and photograph my products as accurately as possible, so please email me with any of your questions before buying. Due to variations between monitors, your personal monitor settings, minor variations of lighting, color filters, or the uniqueness of the products themselves, the items you receive may vary slightly from the photos you see.

Please note that the pictures of Mini Mania sets are a representation of what you could receive from my miniskein collection. You will not receive exactly the same yarns or exactly the same color combinations, so please refer to the list of yarns in each listing to find out what comes in your kit. For those miniskein lovers who'd like to see what some of the yarns they are purchasing looked like before they were cut up, take a peek at some of the full skeins in my Mini Mania Flickr photostream.

And no, this isn't my kitty in a shipping box, though it is a cute kitty. That's because my kitty refuses to go in boxes, even for very important photo shoots (trust me, I tried). She's convinced they are torture devices designed by humans to trap her. She's a little neurotic, but don't tell her I said so.
