Red Riding Hood - Fairy Tale Series - Five Handmade Stitch Markers - 6.5 mm (10.5 US) - Open Edition
"Once upon a time..." elderly grandmother became the victim of identify theft, an innocent girl forgot everything her mother had told her about not talking to strangers, a clever wolf learned how to throw his voice and eat humans whole, and naturally, this led to much hacking with an ax by the local woodsman.

This set of five handmade stitch markers are like miniature jewels for your knitting. Bright red candy jade beads shine like the gleam of a red cape running through the forest, while from one marker hangs large silver charm featuring a clever and fearsome wolf's head

Part of my Fairy Tales series, these markers represent the thrilling and dark story of Little Red Riding Hood. Red is one of the most naive young girls you've ever met - clearly she didn't have any after school specials helping her out at this tender age. Also, the rule of thumb "act first, ask questions later" is lost of Red, who eyes the Wolf in bed and wonders aloud why her grandmother has gotten so hairy. By the time the woodsman appears with his ax to cut everyone out of the Wolf's stomach you almost wonder what else might be popping out in nine months!

Each marker hangs from a hammered silver ring that is soldered to prevent it from catching on your yarn. Perfect for those who like large, lightweight stitch markers.

The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 6.5 mm (10.5 US), and are featured in the photos on needles of the same size.

Need crochet markers? These stitch markers can be turned into closed or open hook marker for crochet enthusiasts - just tell me in the Notes to Seller area when you check out which crochet style you would prefer.

Many of my stitch markers are designed from deconstructed vintage jewelry and reclaimed beads, for one-of-a-kind pieces that make great gifts and keepsakes for knitters.
