Amy Pond - Doctor Who Companions Series - Five Snag Free Stitch Markers - Fits Up To 5.5 mm (9 US) - Limited Edition
Amy: "Doctor, it's happening. It's changing me. It's changing my thoughts."
The Doctor: "I can't save you from it. There's nothing I can do to stop this."
Amy: "What?"
The Doctor: "I stole your childhood and now I've led you by the hand to your death. But the worst thing is I knew. I knew this would happen. This is what always happens. Forget your faith in me. I took you with me because I was vain. Because I wanted to be adored. Look at you, glorious Pond. The Girl Who Waited for me. I'm not a hero. I really am just a madman in a box. And it's time we saw each other as we really are. Amy Williams. It's time to stop waiting."
- Doctor Who, "The God Complex"

This bright set of five handmade stitch markers are like miniature jewels for your knitting. Part of my Doctor Who Companions series, these stitch markers represent Amelia "Amy" Pond, the little girl who waited for the Doctor and grew up to be his companion and the mother of his wife.

Amy is a tough-talking, independent girl whose unexpected life under the Doctor's influence is reflected in the many sides of her personality. These markers, made of rich, faceted, iridescent red beads, are topped with bright vintage orange seed beads that shine like Amelia's brilliant ginger hair. Silver accents set off the entire look.

The beads hang from ultra-thin silver nylon-coated stainless steel wire for a delicate, snag-less feeling on your knitting needles. They won't catch on your yarn, and the teardrop-shaped loops cut down the occurrence of ladders in your knitting. The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 5.5 mm (9 US), and are featured in the photos needles of the same size.

Many of my stitch markers are designed from deconstructed vintage jewelry and reclaimed beads, for one-of-a-kind pieces that make great gifts and keepsakes for knitters.
