SALE - Desert Sunset - Five Handmade Stitch Markers - 8.0mm (11 US) - Last Sets
“...thirteen hundred miles of desert solitudes; of limitless panoramas of bewildering perspective; of mimic cities, of pinnacled cathedrals, of massive fortresses, counterfeited in the eternal rocks and splendid with the crimson and gold of the setting sun." - Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad

This set of five handmade stitch markers are like miniature jewels of the desert for your knitting.

These handmade glass beads were glazed to reveal the gold leaf underneath them, like the cracks in the desert reveal the beauty of its yellow flowers and veins of colored rock. Large orange and red genuine jasper stones remind me of the sunbaked hills in the Southwest. The beads are a lush blend of desert white and red-orange rock, with the gold accents make them glow.

Each marker hangs from a hammered gold ring that is seamless to prevent it from catching on your yarn. Perfect for those who like large, lightweight stitch markers. The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 8.0mm (11 US), and are featured in the photos on 6.5mm (10.5 US) needles.

Need crochet markers? These stitch markers can be turned into closed or open hook marker for crochet enthusiasts - just tell me in the Notes to Seller area when you check out which crochet style you would prefer.

Many of my stitch markers are designed from deconstructed vintage jewelry and reclaimed beads, for one-of-a-kind pieces that make great gifts and keepsakes for knitters.
