My Sassenach - Outlander Series - Five Handmade Stitch Markers - Fits Up To 6.5mm (10.5 US) - Limited Edition
This set of five handmade stitch markers are like miniature pieces of the Scottish Highlands for your knitting. Part of my Outlander collection, these markers represent the lovely Claire Beauchamp. Made out of semi-precious stones and silver charms, they symbolize a woman thrown through time to find the love of her life.
The beads are a lush blend of the colors that are reminiscent of Claire and her life with Jamie Fraser in the 18th century. From a rich, hand-polished amethyst pebble hangs a French fleur-de-lys, a nod to Claire's French ancestry and her time spent in the court of Versailles. The Celtic knot paired with a rose jade stone represents Claire's fiery personality. The "S" emblazoned on a wax seal is topped with a sea-colored mother-of-pearl shell bead, and the miniature dragonfly dangles from two genuine Baltic amber beads. Last but not least, the simple yet beautiful openwork heart features a freshwater pearl, like the Scottish pearls Jamie gave Claire was a wedding gift. Put a little bit of "Claire" in your next project with these stitch markers.
Each marker hangs from a hammered silver ring that is seamless to prevent it from catching on your yarn. Perfect for those who like large, lightweight stitch markers. The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 6.5mm (10.5 US), and are featured in the photos on 6.0mm (10 US) needles.
Need crochet markers? These stitch markers can be turned into closed or open hook marker for crochet enthusiasts - just tell me in the Notes to Seller area when you check out which crochet style you would prefer.
Many of my stitch markers are designed from deconstructed vintage jewelry and reclaimed beads, for one-of-a-kind pieces that make great gifts and keepsakes for knitters.
