Reading Rainbow - Six Handmade Stitch Markers - Fits 8.0mm (11 US) - Limited Edition
I sometimes find myself singing this song for absolutely no reason then it is ingrained in my psyche. I love to read, and in the '90s, Reading Rainbow was must-watch after school television. Some of my favorite books were ones that were first seen on the show.
These stitch markers, inspired by the famous '80's and '90s childhood TV show that promoted reading, feature vintage-style resin beads in a medley of bold striped colors, ranging from royal blue and aqua, to lime green and yellow, orange and red. Hanging from each bead is a charm inspired by the theme song, from the tiny open book that says "I Love to Read" and a fluttering butterfly to the silvery rocket ready to take off in flight. Perfect for those who like dangly stitch markers and prefer their nostalgia in tiny packages.
The markers hang from silver-toned textured rings that are stamped to prevent them from catching on your yarn. They create a snag-free feeling on your knitting needles. The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 8.0mm (11 US), and are featured in the photos on 5.0mm (8 US) needles.
