Oxygen and Hydrogen - Six Snag Free Stitch Markers - Fits Up To 5.5 mm (9 US) - Limited Edition
This set of six snag free stitch markers are like miniature pieces of the oxygen and hydrogen combining in a brilliant scientific experiment of color, forming what many call the fuel of life.
Gorgeous ceramic beads were glazed and then baked with warm tones of blue and green, overshot with brown and gold spatters of heat-formed colors create a deep and moody design. Distressed amber glass and metal accents create a simple steampunk feel to the final piece. Together each stitch marker looks like a small piece of the Earth all wrapped up in one glorious jewel piece no bigger than your fingernail.
The markers will fit comfortably onto knitting needles up to 5.5 mm (9 US), and are featured in the photos on needles of the same size. One marker has gold glass beads hanging from it instead of amber, to differentiate itself for those knitting in the round.
The beads are suspended from ultra-thin, nylon-coated stainless steel wire for a delicate, snag-less feeling on your knitting needles. They won't catch on your yarn, and the teardrop-shaped loops cut down the occurrence of ladders in your knitting.
Many of my stitch markers are designed from deconstructed vintage jewelry and reclaimed beads, for one-of-a-kind pieces that make great gifts and keepsakes for knitters.
